BMI and Multiple Sclerosis: More Evidence of Causation

A new study provides further confirmation of a link between obesity and multiple sclerosis. The results, published in PLOS Medicine, suggest that genetically-determined obesity is associated with an increased risk of MS, up to about 40% in some cases.

Good news for the drug companies since obesity is probably here to stay.  Of course, they could use high-dose fish oil for treating both conditions, but there isn’t any money in doing that.
