If the question is treating psychosis, then the answer is probably yes, assuming you are taking a therapeutic dose of omega-3 fatty acids for a lifetime.  I define a therapeutic dose as the level required to keep the AA/EPA ratio between 1.5 and 3.  And if it’s good for treating psychosis, then it makes sense that maintaining that same AA/EPA ratio will also be good for preventing psychosis.
