Eating eggs may reduce risk of type 2 diabetes

Men who eat more eggs may be at lower risk for developing type 2 diabetes than men who eat fewer eggs, according to research in American Journal of Clinical Nutrition.

Egg whites supply the highest-quality protein other than human breast milk.  The results would have probably been even better if the study had looked at egg-white consumption since the yolk is rich in arachidonic acid that will cause inflammation.
