Expectant Moms Face Greater Diabetes Risk With Boys

Fetal sex plays a role in gestational diabetes risk, researchers said. Carrying a boy, rather than a girl, during an initial and a subsequent pregnancy was associated with a slightly greater risk of developing gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) in each of those pregnancies, according to the retrospective cohort study of more than 640,000 women.

These results are totally insignificant.  This shows the difference between statistically significant results and clinically meaningless results.  Just like statins.
