Fertility Treatments and Heart Disease Study: Here’s the Truth

There's no guarantee of success with fertility treatments, and it can be painful for couples to go through the time, emotional energy, and money involved in treatments without becoming pregnant. Now, a new study has found a correlation between unsuccessful fertility treatments and a higher risk of heart disease later in life.

The first step in any fertility treatment should be to reduce the levels inflammation in both partners.  This means both should be following the Zone Diet and supplementing that diet with high-dose EPA and DHA to reduce their AA/EPA ratio to between 1.5 and 3.  Then the fertility  treatments will have a better chance for success as well as less side effects.
