Fish Oil Benefits Can Be Null When Polluted with PCBs

Saturday Feb 14, 2015 (foodconsumer.org) -- Agneta Åkesson at Institute of Environmental Medicine Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm, Sweden and colleagues published a study that suggests that fish or fish oil with high levels of polychlorinated biphenyls present may not provide protection against heart disease or cardiovascular events such as myocardial infarction.

This is what I have been saying for years.  That’s why my standard for upper levels of  PCBs is 18 times lower than that of the typical standards for fish oil.
