I will have a more complete blog on this next week, but what they consider a “high” dose is essentially “just beyond a placebo” dose.  The reduction in the scarring of the heart was due to increased resolvin formation that requires high levels of omega-3 fatty acids in the blood.  This is why lower dose studies were inconclusive because they were using placebo doses.
