The article conveniently ignores the Japanese, who are largest consumers of fish in the world with the greatest longevity, greatest health span, and low levels of depression and heart disease in the world. The reason is their low AA/EPA ratio. To get to that AA/EPA ratio in the Japanese, Americans need to consume between 5 and 7.5 grams of EPA and DHA per day. No one does. The clinical trials often pointed to a lack of efficacy of fish oil use, essentially placebo doses of omega-3 fatty acids. No wonder they generate placebo results.
