Gestational Diabetes Tied to Later Heart Disease

Sustaining a complication during pregnancy was associated with a 1.6- to 4-fold increase in the risk of cardiovascular disease (CVD)-related death decades later, with glycosuria and early pre-eclampsia incurring the steepest risk, researchers reported.
