The Seattle-based data analyst created a system with her husband Scott Leibrand, a computer network and systems engineer, in 2014.

Call me crazy, but wouldn’t it be easier simply to reduce insulin resistance.  All you need for that is an anti-inflammatory diet coupled with high-dose fish oil and polyphenols.
