Rather than looking for super-foods, you want to put together a super diet with super ingredients.  Those super-ingredients are polyphenols, fermentable fiber and omega-3 fatty acids such as EPA and DHA.  Then you have to have the right balance of protein to carbohydrate at every meal to maintain stable blood sugar levels with the least amount of calories.  It is also known as the Zone Diet.
