Three-fourths of heart attacks in young women may be preventable through lifestyle changes, a new study finds. Researchers followed nearly 70,000 women for two decades and concluded that the majority of heart attacks in young women might be prevented if women closely followed healthy lifestyle practices, according to the study published in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology.
