If they had focused on the lowering of the AA/EPA ratio instead of simply looking at near-placebo level doses of EPA and DHA, it would have demonstrated dramatic differences in CHD mortality like those reported in 2012 (Sekikawa et al. Prostaglandins, Leukotrienes, and Essential Fatty Acids 87:11-16).
