High-Protein Diet May Be Dangerous for Those at Risk of Heart Disease

FRIDAY, May 8, 2015 (HealthDay News) -- A high-protein diet may backfire for people at risk for heart disease -- increasing the likelihood of weight gain and early death, a new study suggests. Replacing carbohydrates and fats with protein is touted as a quick way to weight loss.

Wrong use of terms in this article.  They should be talking about ketogenic diets, not higher-protein diets rich in fruits and vegetables (i.e., the Zone Diet).  Likewise, the last place I would go to get information on healthy diets is the USDA.
