How about a little common sense? If you eat a high-fat diet, where is the excess fat going to go? It turns out it is going to be deposited in the liver if you believe Yale University. Also when the Atkins diet was compared in the Zone Diet in a highly controlled study published in the world premier nutritional research journal, the Zone Diet was shown to be superior in every regard except for increasing inflammation that the Atkins diet did an excellent job of in only six weeks.
