Women's low vitamin D levels during pregnancy are linked to a higher risk of cavities in the teeth of their toddlers, according to a new study done in Canada.

Again this is an association, not a causality. Usually low vitamin D indicates that the mother is in general poor health. Therefore it is not unlikely that her off-spring will also be in the same health condition.n
