The Obesity Paradox—Seriously

Obesity is a significant risk factor for the development of a number of diseases, but the first that comes to mind is type 2 diabetes. Type 2 diabetics have a greater risk of developing-and dying-from nephropathy, micro- and macrovascular disease, impaired wound healing and neuropathy.

The best way to solve the paradox is to reduce the AA/EPA ratio and use fewer diabetic drugs.  The combination of diet and exercise has always been shown to be superior in mortality to diabetic drugs.
