Researchers genetically engineer fish oil in plants

Source: Rothamsted Research The development is a step toward developing a sustainable source of Omega-3 fatty acids for the large and growing global fish farming industry, which is exhausting all other sources of the needed nutrients, say researchers from UK-based laboratory Rothamsted Research. The group published the results this week in the journal Metabolic Engineering Communications.

I will keep repeating that these genetically engineered seeds are also very rich in GLA.  I predict their widespread use will cause numerous inflammatory problems based on my 30 years of research on trying control GLA from increasing AA levels.
