So You Want Some Omega 3′s? Skip the Salmon and Eat These Healthy Fats Instead

Salmon and other fish are prized as the best way to get the important, anti-inflammatory Omega 3 fatty acids into our diets. And while fish does contain Omega 3 fats, fish is not the healthiest option or the most economical. But Omega 3's are important to include in our diets.

All of these sources contain short-chain omega-3 fatty acids that have no anti-inflammatory benefits until they are transformed into the longer chain omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA.  Unfortunately, that is a slow and inefficient process.  However, the pictures in the article are very nice.
