Zone diminishes neuropathy

Last Updated Oct 2007

I had a rough summer with some new foot pains, which started making walking difficult. It progressively got worse, and I was almost not walking sometimes due to the pain. Finally one day it got to the point I didn't think I would make it out of a restaurant party after dinner. I knew that something had probably gone wrong at this point with my sugar levels after I saw a commercial around that same day showing medication for diabetic peripheral neuropathy, a nerve disease in the feet that causes burning and painful stinging that feels like a volt of high electricity going through your feet. I bought a blood tester and could not believe my first results at more than 300. The booklet said to go to the doctor immediately and get on some meds. I said, “I don't do meds and know I can beat this if I turn my eating around.” A friend at work told me about Dr. Sears, and I have been on his plan for four weeks now. My leg pain is almost gone completely, my sugar is testing at 88 now in between meals and I have lost 10 pounds in four weeks. I have read a lot of his books and faithfully live by his words. I know my friend saved my life by giving me his book by Dr. Sears, and I now have faith I will be back to my skinny self by next summer doing some hobbies I haven't done in more than 25 years! I am very excited to be "in the Zone." I have already dropped one dress size, and I feel it won't be long till I am down another. Thank you, Dr. Sears, for saving my life and giving me back my legs and feet. I will never go back to that old way of eating.
