This concept was the driving force behind the development of the Zone Diet in late 1980s. It is only when you mix high levels of omega-6 fatty acids with high levels of insulin that you increase cellular inflammation that drives obesity as well as virtually every other chronic disease. It’s nice to see if being recognized in the popular press.
