This is why per cent body fat is a far better measurement of cardiovascular risk than is BMI. However, even per cent body fat can’t distinguish better subcutaneous fat and visceral fat. ¬†That is best done by the TG/HDL ratio which is an indirect marker of insulin resistance, which is a far greater risk for heart disease.

    My husband and I have been zoning it for 4 years and take most zone supplements. My Tg/hdl is good but my husbands is not the best. We have ordered the zone blood work test and he is walking more ( and over all less calories)
